Before we meet
Most of my work happens before we even meet for our session. I want to hear what your dream photoshoot looks like and all the ideas you have, including props you would like to include. I've had clients create a mood board for me, & I love this. I am up for anything that will allow me to capture the authentic you! Not everyone knows exactly what they want from their session and that's completely normal & where my creative freedom comes in. We will talk through your story & interests and decide together which ideas resonate with you the best!
Where the magic happens
During our time together, expect lots of movement, fun, & laughter. The last thing I want is fake smiles. My main job as a photographer is to make you feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera, that's where the magic happens. The ONLY thing I ask of you is to keep moving, even if it's just simply rubbing your partner's hand. I give you lots of loose prompts and direct you from there. My goal is to get your real emotions out!
After we part ways
Now it's just time to wait, expect your photos delivered within two weeks from the date of our session.
What is Documentary Photography?
Documentary photography is capturing natural, authentic movements, emotions, & expressions. It tells a story; your story and it creates unique photos every single time. I am so passionate about style of creating.
What should I wear?
I always recommend neutrals! Tans, greens, grays, etc. This is so the focus stays on the subjects, YOU. Textured clothing, accessories, outer wear are a big plus!
How many pictures will I receive?
All of my sessions (excluding minis) are up to an hour. This allows me to take plenty of photos. I always deliver a minimum of 50 high resolution edited photos.
Are you available outside of New Smyrna Beach?
Yes, absolutely!! Travel is what inspired me to start photography. I am willing to travel anywhere as long as flight, hotel and rental car (if needed) is covered. Within Florida, there is a small travel fee, if its over 30 mins, to cover my gas and time driving.
Do you shoot extended family/large family photography?
Yes, I will.... but my best, most creative work is with couples, small families and portraits. I guess you could say those are my ideal clients!
